IMS is a small-scale full-service clinical research organisation that supports medtech, biotech and pharmaceutical companies from discovery to market, through integrated or targeted services and an approach tailored to each client’s needs. In addition to projects carried out using its own resources, over the years IMS has been part of major national and international consortia, contributing to the production of scientific knowledge aimed at advancing medical research and improving clinical practice.

CardiOCare

Focused on the definition of tools to stratify the risk of cardiotoxicity induced by breast cancer therapies in older patients with multiple comorbidities. Risk factors analysed include clinical, psychological, omics and lifestyle variables.

PAIN ReLife

Developed an integrated ecosystem of digital services for the ongoing management and support of patients with chronic pain, promoting continuity of care through big data technologies.

IPSlight

Focused on the technological development of reprogrammed human iPSCs (induced pluripotent stem cells) from patients with neurodegenerative diseases, applicable to industrial pharmaceutical research in combination with state-of-the-art high-content and high-throughput screening methods (HCS, HTS).

SHOCKOMICS

A multiscale project focused on the study of cardiogenic and septic shock. Its main objective was to identify the molecular triggers of acute heart failure, develop new biomarkers and define more effective therapeutic approaches for patients in intensive care.

HYPERGENES

A European project involving 20 academic and industry partners, aimed at defining a genetic-epidemiological model to understand the risk factors for hypertension and its associated organ damage. It involved approximately 12,000 individuals from different European cohorts, ensuring appropriate genetic heterogeneity in the study population.

ERDDS

Aimed at identifying a European classification of radiology procedures, developed by correlating the national classifications of the countries involved: Italy, France, Spain and the Czech Republic. The respective national scientific societies acted as guarantors of the project: SIRM, SERAM, SFR and the Czech Scientific Society.
